Virtually bringing over 700 people together from all over the North Island, we were tasked with creating a broadcast level, interactive, live streamed event that would spark creativity and reignite the fire within the Foodstuffs North Island team after a couple of long, tough Covid years.

Streamed in HD from a custom built set to a microsite with Q&A functionality that enabled people to ask questions directly to the MC or guest speakers. We filmed and edited video content from head office as well as multiple stores and created a full motion graphics opening video that really set the tone for the event. With these elements as well as on screen graphics and multiple moving and still cameras we produced a next level online experience for the team.

The event contained solo and panel guest speakers in the studio as well as ‘Zooming in’ from America. As all of this was happening we had a live piece of art being created on stage (that was given out post event to one lucky winner) and injected with pockets of fun like game show style competitions to help keep the mood light and people engaged.

“FoodiesX is a well-known event internally and this year we wanted to lift our game and make it a bigger, better and slicker production. Type 40 completely delivered on our brief and more! They brought the magic to our event and challenged us creatively to push the boat out and give our team members an amazing experience. The team were great to work with and we had lots of positive comments saying that felt like they were watching a TV show”
